Driven Yamaha Race 520 Conversion Chain & Sprocket Kit

Our Yamaha 520 Conversion motorcycle chain & sprocket kits come with a pre-set -1/+2 race gearing for an out of the box boost in acceleration using top of the line Driven rear sprockets paired with steel front sprockets and a 520 chain to put it all together. Expect to see an 8-10% increase in torque. This setup will lower your top end a little but many feel it is an acceptable loss for the performance gains. This kit will also save considerable weight off your drive train - increasing responsiveness and performance.

Bike selections are pre-set with -1/+2 gearing, however, if you want different gearing, simply enter it into the 'custom gearing' field.

Chains come pre-cut for your application. We recommend the RK Chain Riveting/Breaking Tool for installation and the Speedohealer to correct the speedometer once the kit is installed. Traditionally, aluminum sprockets will wear faster than the stock steel sprockets but you will save considerable weight with the switch. Take care of your chain with chain clean & lube/wax to see longer life from your kit.

      What a difference!
      Christopher M. on 03/21/2009
Pros: My 2004 R1 has a greater acceleration off the line and does wheelies very easily now.
Cons: I lost some of my top speed. now I can only top out around 170, but I get there very very quickly!
      by Komsan L. on 07/12/13
Pros: Just got mine installed today and It looks awesome and feels awesome also.. Big noticeable difference in response coming from steel to aluminum. It accelerates a bit faster. very small difference but still noticeable.
Cons: Make sure you wipe off the lube that's already on the chain. It made a fat ass mess. It took me an hour to clean it out. lube was EVERYWEHRE I got the EK Black chain.
      Very good
      Piu L. on 06/15/2008
Pros: I did DID ERV3 15/47 for my '07 R6. Everything is very good as far as quality. Would recommend you get a black/silver color sprocket.
Cons: Gold Sprocket was more like orange in color. Doesn't match the gold chain or ASV levers that I bought.
