    Product Information

Woodcraft Frame Slider (Cut) Base Kit for Speed Triple 05-10

This product is specifically a frame slider base kit (mount kit) and will require pucks to be purchased separately to form a complete frame slider kit. This is not a complete frame slider kit.

Woodcraft frame sliders offer race proven protection for motorcycles during tip-overs or crashes. Their unique design is well thought out and allows replacement sliders pucks to be easily swapped out.

This slider kit uses a perpendicular attachment bolt allowing the sliding surface of the puck to be thick and flat (without a bolt through the middle) -- dramatically improving the amount of plastic to slide on.

    * Shorty 50-1399 pucks recommended for racing
    * Cut kits will require fairing modification for installation

Please note: 08-10 models require the radiator shrouds to be trimmed.

Pros: The product is self explanatory. Product did come with instructions if you need it. All the hardware and fasteners are well made with good finish. As the descriptions of this product, it does require to trim your fairing to a small degree. I bought a inexpensive Dremel and trim away what was in the way. There are videos online from other riders if you need any instructions on installing sliders or trimming the fairing. I personally didn't use any fancy apparatus to help me trim the fairings; I just trim and test-fit. I repeated as needed.
I didn't remove my fairings at all; however, I did unbolt the fairings to get my hands and tools where I needed. If my Dremel didn't die as often as it did (or maybe I should have charged it before I use it), I think this installation would take roughly an hour to 1.5 hour depending how pretty you want the install.

Cons: Cons?... I was sober when I installed it? Other than that, the product is great!

Pros: These are probably the most well thought out sliders on the market. I've used both more expensive and cheaper sliders, but I think these are the best ones I've come across. VERY satisfied.
      Cons: None
