    Product Description:
Each mounting kit is specific to a certain bike with consideration for which combination of bars or triple camps are used on that bike. In most cases, if you can change a spark plug then you should be able to install a Scotts Steering Stabilizer. It needs to be installed correctly to gain the maximum potential. There is no welding required for most applications and can be installed in minutes in most cases. It’s a hydraulic shock absorbing damper that gets attached to the steering head area right above the handlebar mount. By helping to stabilize the front end of the motorcycle, the rear of the motorcycle will track straighter allowing the rest of the suspension to work the way it is designed to.
    Product Benefits:
The unit comes with a step by step instruction manual. This is a very sophisticated unit that does more for any motorcycle than any other after market improvement. It does not require constant servicing like some of the other dampers. Once installed correctly, it almost needs no attention at all. Scotts Steering Stabilizer eliminates that sudden thrust affect of having the handlebars pulled from biker’s hands after unknowingly hitting something unforeseen like rocks or rain ruts. It has also helps to minimize rider fatigue and the dreaded arm-pumping situation that occurs while wrestling the front end of the bike.
    Product Specifications:
The stabilizer itself must be mounted over the centerline of steering stem on a motorcycle, unless you are using linkage that accomplishes the same goal, similar to our LOW MOUNT configuration.
When ordering a stabilizer only, it will normally come with a standard linkarm that matches the stock bike components that you are ordering it for. Some applications require different lengths and different shape linkarms due to physical hurdles, depending on the clearances for your particular application. A few special applications do not come with a linkarm.
Off road stabilizers have no rebound valving, whereas road bike stabilizer HAVE rebound valving. Applications for off-road bikes that are using riding computers, usually need the stabilizer mounted in the “reverse” position to allow clearance for the computer. You must specify that preference at the point of ordering in the special notes section, so we can reverse the linkarm before shipping.
SUB mounted stabilizers MUST have the linkarm reversed also, be sure to mention it's a SUB mount or LOW mount or any special features or mounting items you are going to be using, so we can provide you with the stabilizer and parts needed. For special applications or questions regarding the purchase of a stabilizer only, we recommend you call or email us. We're here to help!

Pros: This little thing has saved my a$$ on more than one occasion. 100mph tank slapper is no fun. By far one of the best investments you can have on a bike. Looks awesome also.
