      Great seat best price
      James C. on 01/26/2010
Pros: This seat is very comfortable for me. I have a SV650N so I sit upright. The rear is a cover and not a full seat. The seat I got was all black not like the picture. I think it looks better.
      Very easy to install.
Cons: Staple gun required to install back cover. Get the 1/4"staples. I removed the old rear seat cover.
      David T. on 04/02/2009
Pros: Haven't put too many miles on it yet, but the wider saddle is more comfortable for long distance rides.
Cons: Front of the seat is a little loose when installed on the bike, but it doesn't move around when you're sitting on it.
Brilliant choice, best seat upgrade choice you can make
      by Dan M. on 04/02/12
Pros: I have tried three different seats on my 2012 EVO SP Corse and I am stoked with this one most of all for daily rides.

The DP Racing seat is hard. It gives me a numb arse in 30kms (15 miles) of riding). The stock one is just retarded full stop. Uncomfortable quickly and a sticky feeling material with a forward sitting profile. The Sargent on the other hand is flat and sits you up straight and the Gel foam padding is worth every cent of the upgrade and offers the best value I found. These guys worked with me for shipping to Australia and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy when I had a minor problem. Highly recommend.
I wrote up a blog on the three seats I've tried if you want more info: http://www.ducatiblog.com.au/2012/02/28/three-types-of-ducati-hypermotard-seats-and-their-profiles/
Cons: I have found that the seating position can cause your thighs to kick out a bit more when sitting back but it feels fine, not really a con. I probably wouldn't use this seat on track days, that's not the reason you're looking at it though, is it?
