      Awesome crashbars
      by Michael G. on 03/28/13
Pros: I liked the looks of these crashbars better than anyone else's. The fit and finish is excellent, and they were easy to mount with only one person doing the job. One other reviewer didn't know what the brackets were for on the side of each crashbar. Those brackets are to mount highway footpegs and/or additional lights. I've mounted '88-'07 Kawasaki Ninja 250 passenger footpegs on mine. I like this idea, because my knees ache on long street rides, and being able to move my feet into a different position for a little while is just the ticket.
Cons: These crashbars are expensive for what they are, and they are a little heavy. However, in order for them to do their job well, they have to have some heft to them (this isn't a little KDX50 you're protecting here). As for the cost, compare the cost of replacing all the tupperware and other related parts per side on your bike to that of the crashbars. The crashbars are a good investment.
      Sw-Motech Crashbars
      by Geof H. on 09/26/13
      Pros: Solidly built
Only took a couple hours to install
I like the look over the Givi Crashbars
      the price wasn't outrageous
Was able to mount Bicycle pegs on the crash bars for $15 instead of spending $75 at the motor sports store
      Cons: Nothing
      Steve W. on 12/10/2011
Pros: Solid, not too heavy. Decent fit and finish. Just got them on the bike, hope never to prove their worth.
Cons: Instructions are a bit sparse, but useable. Extra bolts came with the unit and have no idea what they were for -- and I installed my set with an SW-Motech skid plate. There are brackets that are welded on one of the lower front joints that I also have no idea what they are good for. Maybe lights...a reflector? Dunno. The webbing in that area will add strength, but unless I put some farkle on there, they will look stupid.
