    Product Information

Pazzo Levers for Tiger 800 11-14

This complete standard (non-folding) Pazzo Racing Lever set is for both brake and clutch hand control levers (both right and left) and they come ready for installation on your stock perches. Pazzo Motorcycle Levers include the lever blade and the mount for easy installation and replacement for your boring stock levers. Pazzo levers are the real-deal, original motorcycle aftermarket lever to offer color options both in the lever blade and the lever adjuster. Mix and match a ton of anodized options from gold, silver, blue or black to create the perfect lever set for your motorcycle. Favorite color combinations include all black and black levers with gold adjusters although you can customize to the moon for your bike. Pazzo Levers are an absolute fan favorite for motorcycle enthusiasts as well as the staff here at SoloMotoParts.com and we think they are easily the best motorcycle lever on the market today.

On The Fly Adjustable Lever Reach
A big selling point for these motorcycle levers, aside from the myriad of color options, is that they allow a multi-point adjustment of the lever distance from the hand grip. This gives the rider much needed confidence and allows a more comfortable riding experience as well as improved safety - especially for those the are just starting out, learning to ride or just have a smaller reach.

    Standard or Shorty Length
Length options include a standard length lever, which is about the length of your OEM Stock lever but there are riders that prefer a shorter lever - most often on the brake side, although it's possible to purchase a set of shorty levers. Pazzo shorty levers measure about 2-3 fingers of surface area width or about 1-1/4 inch shorter than the standard motorcycle brake or clutch lever. The shorty lever is said to minimze damage to the lever during a crash as well, so that's a plus! Keep in mind that if you are consdiering a switch to shorty levers, it will take some time to get used to the new lever pull.

    CNC Machined and Anodized
For long lasting strength and durability, Pazzo Levers are CNC Machined from 6061-T6 billet alumnimum to very precise tolerance levers to allow for a confident lever pull and wicked cool styling. All color options are anodized (except if listed as powder coated) and can be explained as almost a dye for the aluminum. Generally speaking, because of the anodization process, colors won't be strikingly bright as you can see in the pictures. Fortunatelly, many of the aluminum bits available for bikes these days are anodized so there won't be huge differences in the feel but there may be differnces in the colors (for instance, if you're looking to match your gold forks with a set of gold levers).

Pazzo Levers are available for a wide range of modern motorcycles including sportbikes, standard, touring and adventure. Please contact us if you cannot find fitment for your motorcycle on our website. Picture is representational and the actual product may vary a bit.

      A Must Have!
      Peter H. on 05/06/2008
Pros: Extremely high quality, but less expensive than other mfg's products; colors are primo- gold matched my D675's forks and red matched my XB12R's wheels perfectly; 'shorty' length allows two-finger grip with decreased pull effort; drop-in install. I will have these on every bike I own... a definite MUST HAVE!
      Cons: None
      Look good
      Stephano D. on 03/25/2010
Pros: Blue looks exactly like the pictures. Beautiful and rich color.
Cons: The gold color isn't that gold. Has an orange tint to it

      Results

I wasn't happy with the late release point on my Tiger 800's clutch (with non-adjustable lever), and cable adjustment didn't help. I went with the full-length levers and am glad I did, both for long-distance and in-traffic comfort. These adjustable levers gave both clutch and brake a more natural feel. I'm especially happy with clutch performance now -- even at the closest setting, the lever doesn't interfere with the Tiger's ignition interlock, which was a pleasant surprise.
These levers aren't cheap, but if you're going to keep the bike for any length of time, consider how often you'll be using the clutch and brake. I consider them a good investment in riding enjoyment.
ps: I went with titanium levers, red adjusters.
      Cons: Instructions are skimpy.

The enclosed instructions are not hard to understand, but my aging eyes wished for larger print and maybe a diagram for installing the clutch lever. Initially, I missed the instruction to reuse the OEM clutch lever's bushing on the new lever, then wondered why the lever felt sloppy. I re-read the instruction and found my error. Not a big deal, but that's the only criticism I have of this product.
