    Product Information

Dynojet Quick Shifter Sensor for ZX10R 06-15

Normally during "up shifting" you must roll off of the throttle and pull in the clutch in order to engage the next higher gear. In racing (both drag and road race), split seconds count. Rolling off the throttle, even slightly, slows your times and can be the difference between winning and losing. The Dynojet Quick Shifter (DQS) allows full throttle, clutch less shifting. This is done by momentarily cutting the fuel and or ignition, which unloads the transmission. During this time, the rider can shift up to the next gear without rolling off the throttle or using the clutch.

    * Requires either a quick shifter expansion module (QEM), secondary fuel module (SFM) or an ignition module to use the DQS
    * This is "pressure style" sensors for PCV
    * PCV shift rod tension sensor (push type)
    * Races are won or lost in fractions of a second
    * Dynojet's Quick Shifter (DQS) kit allows full-throttle, clutchless upshifts in racing and performance riding applications
    * Linear travel sensor kit works with bikes that have no shift rod, or on those the shift rod sensor will not fit, by mounting one end to the shift lever and the other to a fixed point on the chassis; available in push types with universal mounting hardware
    * Plugs directly into the Power Commander expansion port with no re-wiring required
    * Power Commander Control Center software lets you set engine dead time during upshifts and minimum rpm for system operation

NOTE: To order either of the above sensors, you must find the correct direction of movement during an upshift (push or pull). For the shift rod/pressure/tension sensor, press on the shift lever in the direction of an upshift to see if the rod is pushing or pulling on the clevis on the shift shaft. For the linear travel sensor, also move the shifter for an upshift. If movement is down, a pull sensor is needed. If movement is up, a push sensor is required.

      Dynojet Quickshifter ZX10R
      by Morgan S. on 10/22/15
Pros: Installation was a breeze. Had it on the bike and setup via my laptop in under an hour. I did adjust the stock settings so the lower rpm limit was at 10k rpm but did leave the kill time as is. It was amazing on the track! I bought it to reduce my lap times and additionally, reduce the amount of times I pull the clutch lever per trackday, since I was having wrist issues. The quick shifter was successful in reducing my lap times and improving wrist comfort. Awesome product!!
Cons: With my foot peg set in the most rear position on my Vortex rearsets, the shifter rod that pairs with the shifter had very few threads left on it that I could use. I would recommend either a longer rod or moving your rearsets forward a bit.
