Pros: Good solid construction.
Cons: Don'tlike the nylon nuts. Also the fit is not exact - you have to tap it into alignment with a mallet. Alignment tabs would help.

Not a perfect fit on my '09...
Pros: it is a no cut frame slider, as I didn't "cut" anything.
Cons: maybe this was made for an '08, but I had to put extra washers in place just to move the slider into a position where it can stick out of the fairing (else the engine would be in the way). Seems to still rest against the fairing a bit, not matter what.

Easy install
by Brandon V. on 05/08/2009
Pros: VERY easy to install.
Cons: Wish the instructions were more specific and explained things for the beginners out there (remember, this is supposed to be a beginner bike!)

Pretty easy to install
by MARTIN O. on 05/19/2009
Pros: Easy enought to install, No cutting needed at all.
Cons: None that I can think of, instructions could be a little better on what direction to put engine mount bolt in (I guessed rigth I think).

Good Sliders, Truly No Cut
by Wesley B. on 07/16/2009
Pros: The sliders are well made, and they are
machined to very close tolerances as far
as their fit on the bike is concerned. They must be lined up almost perfectly with the fairing in order to fit, and on the left side, the bracket comes into contact with the radiator hose. It took me and a friend more than an hour and a half to put them on, but almost all of that time was spent just figuring out how to remove the left and right fairings. The sliders are attatched to the upper motor mount. (Which if you buy them has a torque spec of 47 ft-lbs since the instructions don't specify that).
Cons: My only concern about them is that the way they are made seems like the mounting could bend if it was hit hard enough, so I will just have to wait (hopefuly never) until I crash to see if that is true or not.

Good parts for a new rider!
by Shaun L. on 07/30/2009
Pros: Easy to install (once you get the fairings off!
Quite ruggedly built. Great for protecting the bike from a low speed or stationary tipover.
Highly recommended for a new rider, and has already been used by my wife once, with no damage to the bike, just her pride.
Cons: Not sure how they will hold up at a higher speed accident.
It's a pain to get the fairings off the bike.
Make sure you have the service manual or read a DIY write up on one of the Ninja 250 forums.

GREAT!
by Natalie D. on 11/07/2009
Pros: Quick Shipping, comes with instructions you can actually understand. Seems to be very sturdy when in place.
Cons: Alittle fustrating putting them on by yourself, but overall not too complicated.

Good product
Pros: I have these installed and haven't had an issue with installation, they fit just fine. Me being new to working on bikes and everything, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I haven't tested out the actual durability of the product (hope I never have to) on my 08 ninja 250r... but we shall see. Thanks SoloMotoParts!

Very well built
by bernard k. on 07/10/2010
Pros: They are built well look sweet and are easy to install and are 100 percent true no cut
Cons: When u read the instuctions they tell u to slide the engine mount bolt and replace it with other at the same time easier said then done and the hose gets in the way so be careful not to rip the hose
