Excellent product
Pros: REALLY easy install (see speedohealer's website for detailed instructions for each bike). Works as advertised. What else is there to say???
Solomoto did a great job in handling the order as well; good communication and fast delivery considering the unit is pretty scarce right now. Perfect across the board.
When it comes time to calibrate your unit, I would recommend using a handheld GPS taped to your bike. Record the GPS velocity and speedometer velocity in 10 mph increments from 20 mph to 80 mph on a straight, flat road. Plot the data in Excel and you will have two lines with different slopes. Multiply the difference between the two slopes by 100% and this is your correction factor in units of %. This is the most accurate way to calibrate it.

Props to Heal Tech and Solo Moto
| by Darius R. on 04/17/2008 |
Pros: First off I never do product reviews, but in this case I felt obligated. I ordered this part Monday morning, the part arrived Wednesday around 2pm, it was installed by about 4pm and ops checked using one of those road side (you are going this fast type) radar clocks by Thursday morning. After a -1 +2 sprocket conversion, the speedo healer had my meter reading dead on.
All of the tech data (on line calculator) needed for calibration is on Heal Tech's web site (http://www.healtech-electronics.com).
This was a great buy! I highly recommend it.
Cons: None!

Great product!
| by Roger B. on 04/20/2008 |
Pros: The new V4.0 is completely plug and play and was the easiest mod I've done to my bike yet. I was skeptical before I received the unit, but it has exceeded my expectations. Now when I change gearing to suit the conditions I can easily calibrate the ODO and Speedo to read accurately.
Cons: There are none!
Thanks, HealTech!

Great product, but a rough road.
| by Benjamin C. on 05/02/2008 |
Pros: Great service and delivery, very good price for the product. Once installed, the device worked beautifully and is easy to reprogram on the fly.
Cons: Installation is downplayed, it can be very difficult depending on your bike. Instructions on both the speedo healer website and peer websites were inaccurate. I highly suggest purchasing a service manual (better than the one your bike came with) and TAKE YOUR TIME installing the device. This combo can help even the most novice install the Speedo Healer.

Easy to install & works great
Pros: Easy to install & works great & easy to program

Works great!
Pros: This little device was easy to install. A 20-30 minute job from start to finish, including calibrating. The calibration calculator on the Heal Tech website was accurate. My speedo was way off after a sprocket change, and this fixed me right up.
Cons: None.

Works Great, VERY Easy Install
| by Waylon S. on 08/21/2008 |
Pros: 1) Easy to install
2) Easy to set up
3) Very small and compact
4) Works great!
Cons: Was planning on mounting on top of the PCIII since it was so small, but instructions say to keep a couple of inches away from eletronics such as ECU and PCIII.
|

works good, easy install
Pros: Works as advertised.
Didn't realize it came with a top speed button.
Easy install. (its alot easier if you don't have a tank of gas)
Cons: should be less expensive, but its the best one you can get...
|

a dream....
| by thomas f. on 08/25/2008 |
Pros: not only did i get fast from solo moto, it installed fast and it works fast! went on a ride after using the 'estimated' on-line calculator (regeared my 08 R6 to 520) and caught up with one of those mobile police radars...after 3 passes at varied speeds the speedo read dead on when compared to the radar...and i did not compensate for the 'factory speedo error.' kudos to heal tech and solo moto!!!!!!!!
Cons: uh, none!!!!!

Meets My Standards.
| by Anthony G. on 08/28/2008 |
Pros: Easy to install, easy to set up, and easy to program. Solo Moto Parts did a great job getting this product to me on time, and I would recommend their service to other people.
Cons: I wish the product had a better display on the unit when programming it, and the unit could auto-correct your speed on the digital speedometer without having to thinker with it and the website.
|

Great product! easy to use
| by Matthew K. on 09/14/2008 |
Pros: Verry small foot-print
Easy to use and calibrate
plug and play
Cons: You have to install it....LOL
|

Works as promised!
| by Michael B. on 09/19/2008 |
Pros: The Speedohealer does exactly what it's supposed to do. I dropped one tooth on the front sprocket and wanted to correct my speedo reading. I used my wife's GPS watch to determine actual speed, plugged that into their website along with indicated speed and it calculated the adjustment. The gearing change along with the factory inaccuracy caused it to need a 12.4% correction!
Cons: It would be nice if they had a harness available for the 05/06 ZX6R, though splicing isn't too tough.
|

| by Brian H. on 09/25/2008 |
Pros: Even with the universal adapter, this unit was really easy to install. I got it super quick from solomotoparts and it works great! No more speedo error (based on pacing a car). The online calculator is also easy to use and get the right adjustments. In my case, my speedo was right on by just using the suggested value (based on factory error and gearing switch).
Cons: There is no specific plug/play adapter for the 07 CBR600RR, so I needed to splice some wires to hook it up (this was known before I bought it)
|

Great Product
| by scott c. on 09/26/2008 |
Pros: Very easy install. Simple to calibrate. Calculator from web site was only 1 mph off from gps using estimated. The only way to go with gearing changes and taller tire.
Cons: Top speed button adds miles for a few seconds.
|

Works great!!
| by Christopher B. on 09/29/2008 |
Pros: Easy installation. Very accurate.
Cons: Nothing.
|

Pros: Very easy to install and set/adjust the speed modification factor. It is a great product and, having tested the +8.2% "healing factor" it is right on... as tested by GPS, community radar "your speed is" and other sources... a great product and it will move with me from bike to bike...
Cons: None... although it would be helpful if instructions included more suggestions on how to calibrate actual speed with the Healer. There has to be more options explained for those how don't have GPS or a 1-mile marker and stop watch near by...
|

Works good, simple and compact
Pros: Does as it claims simple and effective.
Its nice to know my actual speed (I calibrated with a GPS and set it for a high cruise of around 75mph or so.) It seems the higher you sync it, the more accurate as speedo error gets higher the faster you're going. Don't GPS sync it at around 35mph, set it for higher, typically a highway cruising speed is ideal so you get the best accuracy for long range commutes, etc. I like now that my mileage will be more accurate as well (although an odo off 7% or so is really not a big factor in resale if you do the math). Now I will have no reservations if I feel like makeing a gearing change in the future.
|

Pros: Works great!
Cons: None
|

| by Kimber C. on 11/01/2008 |
Pros: Super easy installation. It took less than 10 minutes to install and set up.
Cons: You have to convert miles per hour to kilometers per hour to find proper calculation.
|

What a bargain!
| by Anthony S. on 11/12/2008 |
Pros: Awesome, easy to follow instructions, easy to use and calibrate, if you follow the online or booklet instructions. I used the online calcualator from healtech's website and it made it much easier. Its also nice to hit the little red button and see my highest speed reached after a lap at the track.
Good job healtech and thanks for an awesome product at a reasonable price.

Great Product!
| by Aaron S. on 11/15/2008 |
Pros: Excellent product and very easy to install! Directions were clear and unit was easy to calibrate.
Cons: The wires could be a little longer. Had just enough wire to make it from my seat to under the tank where it plugs in.
|

Great Product! Easy Install!
Pros: Easy to install and calibrate. I ride an 06 R6. Took me about 40 minutes to install IN THE DARK! Easy to calibrate, just follow the supplied directions. No noticeable lag in speedometer.
Cons: No cons that I've noticed.

Great Product
| by Leonardo T. on 01/02/2009 |
Pros: I used my speedohealer for a different application. used it to calibrate my speedometer on my car, so far its accurate as can be. not having any kind of problems.
Cons: none thus far.
|

Pros: Great for fixing Speedo when changing to a biger or smaller gear.
|

Pros: Other than the fact that my tank is a pain to take off, this product was very easy to install and works very well.
Cons: Can't think of any.
|

Just warm
Pros: It worked as advertised and was easy to install. I really like knowing exactly how fast I'm going.
Cons: On the ZX14 the Speedohealer causes the gear position indicator to malfunction. It no longer shows the correct gear when in the higher gears. This is a real disappointment and I would not have bought the system if I had know before hand. Healtech does not have an answer at this time.
|

Great Product!
Pros: Works great. Easy to install and very simple procedure for calibration. Would recommend it to anyone!

| by David D. on 03/27/2009 |
Pros: Exactly as advertised. Very easy to install (plug & play) as well as small enough to easily find a great location. It is also VERY accurate. The top speed recall is a nice bonus too.
Cons: none. perfect. now I have no excuse when the man asks "Do you have any idea how FAST you were going?" though!

Speed Perfection!
| by Nicholas G. on 03/27/2009 |
Pros: This little box does wonders! I used a GPS for see the differences in my indicated speed and my true speed to totally get rid of the factory error. Their website www.healtech-electronics.com lets you know everything you need to do after you purchase this product. If want to de-restrict your bike for top speed runs you can do that too with this box. Just set it to read way below your indicated speed and it will trick your bike so you can go faster than the factory speed govenor is set at. Of course you'll need to know your speed some other way if you do that which is where another one of these come in or GPS. BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Cons: Nada.

BRILLIANT!!!!
| by Chris D. on 03/28/2009 |
Pros: HEY GUYS,THIS THING IS AWESOME. IT'S SUPER EASY TO INSTALL AND CALIBRATE. I WORK AT A HONDA DEALERSHIP AND HAVE HAD PEOPLE ASK ME SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THIER SPEEDO ERRER ON THE ST1300. THIS IS WHERE I'LL SEND THEM.

Pros: Super easy to install, very accurate. Definately a must have if you change your gearing.
|

Pros: easy to install on any bike, cheap, works, easy to set up, and accurate. does it get better than that
Cons: factories can't put this hardware in the tach?
|

Fast, Easy, Helpful
Pros: The install was very simple and took less than ten minutes. Literally a plug and play accessory for your bike.
Cons: None
|

Excellent product! Easy install!
| by Thomas B. on 04/11/2009 |
Pros: I have a Honda VTX1300R. The speedo was off 10.5% from the factory. I bought this speedo healer and followed the instructions that came with it. It took me about an 1 1/2 hrs. to complete from start to finish. Somebody that's more mechanically inclined the me can probably do this in half the time. After calibration I went for a ride in one of our local "This is your speed" things that the cops put out and it was spot on! Even with GPS it is spot on! Great product that does exactly what it says it does!
Cons: None on the product itself. One thing I wish could be corrected, but this is NOT a problem with the speed o healer, is what's called speedometer-to-odometer error correction. There is one signal that drives both speedometer and odometer. This is bike model specific. e.i., Although my speedometer was off 10.5% high, my odometer was only off 5%. So, when I corrected my speedometer to read correctly, my VTX odometer was then reading -5%, due to a 10% correction total. Now, the speeohealer can correct either speedometer or odometer or somewhere in the middle, but not both if you have any speedometer-to-odometer error.
|

Works perfectly
| by Robert J. on 04/25/2009 |
Pros: Quick, about a 1hr job to do it right. Works exactly as described.
Cons: 2... 1, the hardest part is getting an accurate 'control' speed, by pacing a friend, or using the radar speed signs on the highway, and 2 have to be comfortable getting hands on the bike, dig around in the space under the fuel tank a little
|

Does the job very nicely
| by Brian D. on 04/27/2009 |
Pros: This is a well thought out product. The stock connectors make it to be a very simple installation. The hardest part was just finding the OEM connector that was buried under a part of the wiring harness (and finding it wasn't all that hard).
Adjusting the unit is straight forward and easy as well. I put a little GPS on the tank and went for a ride. I was pleasantly surprised that the speedometer was spot on after only one adjustment using the online calculator. I tested it again to verify and the speed was exactly what the GPS said from 0mph to 100mph+. I wasn't about to look down after that speed ;)
Cons: None at all. It's worth the money to have accurate readings.
|

Pros: Easy to install and easy to calibrate
Cons: non
|

Can't do without
| by Dennis E. on 04/29/2009 |
Pros: Using a GPS to test with, my speedometer is only 0.4 mile off. True miles on your engine. This is the second bike I have installed one on. On a four day bike trip with friend, I would log 800 miles while my friends would see 900 plus. Who is going to have a better resale 4 or 5 year down the road.
Cons: None...Not buying one
|

Excellent product
Pros: Excellent product and outstanding transaction. Item arrived promptly. A+++++
|

Works great
| by Daniel C. on 05/07/2009 |
Pros: Speedometer is now correct. It was off over 9%. 45 minutes to install, most of that was deciding where to mount it. Easy programming, a caveman could do it! Small unit, doesn't need much room. Put remote button under the rear cowl. Easy enough access for me.
|

a must have for any sportbike
| by chaim b. on 05/07/2009 |
Pros: super fast shipping
plug and play
wouldn't re-gear without it
no more restriction on my zx-14
|

| by Choon G. on 05/10/2009 |
Pros: Clear setup instructions. Easy to install and it works like a charm. I've only had it for a couple of weeks so can't say anything about reliability, but so far it has been working unobstrusively. This unit is installed on a streetbike so I won't be using the second calibration function unless I start playing around with different final drive ratios as I would on a track bike.
Cons: None so far.
|

Excellent product.
| by michael f. on 05/13/2009 |
Pros: Very high quality and well thought out, as the wires were all the perfect length to run along the frame rails and mount under my seat. Easy to install, and the connectors snap in perfectly. I used the extra remote button provided that you push to reveal top speed, which had plenty of wire for routing to the handlebars as well. Easy to calibrate and reprogram. The setting for a B-King with stock gearing and tires is -9.1 Works exactly as advertized, and I am very pleased. Used in conjunction with the X-tre, these are the best additions I have made to my bike. Worth every penny.
Cons: Now I am obsessed with my top speed, which we won't mention here, ha ha.
|

Works great!
Pros: Easy to setup and install. After using a GPS to get the "true speed" reading, I went to the online calculator and put in what my speedo read and what the GPS read and got the percentge of the difference. It was spot on. The top speed memory is a cool feature.
Cons: The price, but I have no more speedo error. My speedo was off by 10mph, and my odometer was racking up more miles than what it really was. It was worth the money in my opinion.
|

Great product!
| by Julio M. on 05/22/2009 |
Pros: After changing the rear sprocket on my WR250R the error as compared with a GPS was about 20%. So my bike my bkie was accumulating a lot more miles than it should - very bad for resell value. But the SH did the trick. Very easy to install and adjust. I am giving it 5 stars because so far everything has worked as advertised and it looks very well made. The only issue is that I've only had it installed for a week so and I am not sure about reliability.
Cons: None so far.
|

Awesome!
| by Mauro F. on 05/24/2009 |
Pros: I did tare it against the satellite and it gives a very precise correction of the speed. A "must" for anybody who often plans to use the bike as commuter.
|

Great product!
| by Michael D. on 05/28/2009 |
Pros: One of the best products I've purchased. It measures percent difference throughout the
speed range. I can now rely on the speedometer always being accurate. Matches GPS exactly if set at -7.2% for CBR1100XX.
Cons: None

Best Invention Ever
| by Jason S. on 06/11/2009 |
Pros: I read almost everyone's review of this product on SOLOMOTOPARTS.COM before buying it. The reviews had some good piont's in them and made me think this was an exceptional product and the one I wanted. The people at SOLOMOTO PARTS are awsome, they answered my only question I had with out hessitation. The Speedo Healer works great installed so eaisly and since the install have changed gearing a few times to get my R1 to have the bottom end and top speed I want and recalibrating the Speedo Healer is super easy. I would without a doubt reccomend this product to anyone and everyone I know and to get it from the people at SOLOMOTOPARTS.COM. Shipping only took 2 days and I love it. Thanks SLOLOMOTOPARTS.
Cons: My only complaint is with Yamaha. The directions from SOLOMOTOPARTS and HEALTECH are spot on, but in the servive manual for a 2007 Yamaha R1 it said the speed sensor wire was YELLOW and it was PINK. It was the only white connector in the location the manual was telling me to find it but the wire color was wrong. Other than that I do not have any complaints and this is a great product.

Works as advertised
| by Corky F. on 07/16/2009 |
Pros: Very easy to install
" " " Calibrate
Does what it says will do
Cons: None
|

Pros: Easy to install and calibrate, i used a GPS to get more exact percentage correction.
|

Works Great!
Pros: Works at indicated, with a couple of caveats (see Cons).
Unit is small, seems bomb-proof, and wiring it up is straightforward on the Ducati Monster 1100S (the color codes are the same as Aprilia). Very easy to set, and mistakes are easily corrected.
Best part is that now, running the Race ECU (highly recommended, by the way), I can correct for kph to mph and correct the 11-percent high speedo reading. Very good!
Cons: Not the units fault, but routing the wiring on the Monster 1100S is a bear! Locating the unit in the tool tray is logical location, and there is "just" enough wiring to make it down to the sensor junction under the swingarm.
For whatever reason, my unit did not "wake up" correctly until I went around the block. None of the display codes matched until I came back from the first ride, after which everything was fine.
|

| by Tyler H. on 07/30/2009 |
Pros: It works perfect and was easy to put in. I ran a sprocket conversion, one down in the front and 2 up in the back and driving past the cop radars i was only one mph off. I deffinitly recommend this product.
|

Works well
Pros: Works as advertised, calibration is much easier and more precise than Speedo-tuner (a competing product where you have to calibrate it while you're riding). Top speed feature is nice.
Cons: Install on my GSX-R1000 required removing the tank--couldn't get to the connector with just tank propped up.

Cons: Kit could use a couple more cable ties.
|

Very Pleased
| by Thomas K. on 09/21/2009 |
Pros: I found that my speedometer was reading 64 mph when the GPS indicated 60. This is 6.25% high and I ordered and installed the speedhealer which works as advertised. I am very happy with the results. Their web site has a posting with pictures from a customer. I found that raising the gas tank not as important as getting behind the right upper cowl. I managed by loosing several screws and pulling the cowl out about 5-6 inches. However, the next time, I would spend the extra 15 min to remove the cowl. Accessing the connector is tight and there are two identical connectors in the soft plastic cover. I picked the wrong one the first try, so don't move ahead until you have the right one. Overall, I am pleased as my speedometer is right on and I don't have to do mental calculations as I am riding.

| by Keith T. on 11/07/2009 |
Pros: Did what it claimed to do - for a while. Easy to install.
Cons: It died yesterday, after 2.5 months. Speedometer stopped working - dead. Removed the Speedo Healer and the speedometer worked as it should. Dead Speedo Healer. I hope they will stand behind their product.

Pros: Works like a champ. Follow the instructions and you should have no problems.
Cons: Nothing really.
|

Pros: Works as advertised and is an improvement over the V3.
Cons: If you are putting this on a SV650, you will need to splice in an additional 8-12 inches of wire, as the wiring harness is not long enough to run it to a location under the seat. Also, this item is not waterproof.

Pros: Installed in 20 minutes. Works perfect. Quality product.
Cons: It would be nice to have a mount for the top speed button.

Works Great
Pros: Fixed my speedo. Stock my speedo was off by 8%, with my gearing combo (+1/-2) the speedo was off by 19%!
Cons: My bike is not as fast as I originally thought.

Works great!
| by Stephen M. on 05/08/2010 |
Pros: Very easy to install on my bike (VTR1000F). Set the speed at 60 with a handheld GPS and it's accurate all the way up - didn't check over 100, tho.
Top speed memory is a nice plus.
Cons: Calibration was a little confusing at first, but not much more than a digital watch.

Pros: On my FZ1 2008, I changed front sproket down from 17 to 16 and increased back to 46 from 45. It has given me much faster acceleration but my speedo was off by 15kph. My speedo was showing 135kph when GPS indicated 120kph. I went on their site and got a correction factor of 11.1% which I entered in the flash memory after direct plugin of the wires. That was done in 30 minutes without problem. The longest was to locate the speedo wire which is under the gas tank. After installation, my speedo is now indicating exactly the same as on the GPS. Excellent Product with good instructions.
Cons: A bit expensive for a flash memory with a plug, but worth it.

Pros: My speedo is 100% PERFECT now. When I look at my speed, that is exactly how fast I am going.
Cons: Instructions could be a bit easier. But if you go to their website they have pictures to follow showing what to do.
