This is the Billet Internal Adapter for the Hindsight, Hindsight LS and Blindsight Billet Bar End Mirrors. We make this assembly to offer an alternative to the basic Bar End Mirror mount.* This assembly will work on bars with internal diameters as small as 12mm (.475”) and as large as 19mm (.750”). This range covers virtually all aluminum and steel bars/clip-ons.
Whenever possible we recommend mounting the Hindsight Billet Bar End Mirror with the basic mount which clamps to the outer diameter of a 7/8” handlebar/clip-on. Using the basic mount is the bar end mirror solution using the fewest parts, facilitates the easiest installation and removal, is the lightest weight, and provides for the most secure bar end mirror mounting. Use of the basic mount requires having 10mm (3/8”) of bare bar outboard of the grip/throttle assembly. Before purchasing the mirror adapter, try moving your grips and controls inboard (away from the end of the bar). In many applications, the mirror can be mounted with the basic mount.

Pros: Great product, and great service from SoloMotoParts.com. I modified this adapter as a custom mount for a Rizoma Dynamic mirror head.

Pros: Nice looking, matches the CRG bar end mirrors perfectly (as you'd expect).
Cons: I didn't need this as the mirror clamps to my smallish Renthal bar end, but I installed it once before replacing the OEM bar ends and can't return it as I boogered up the aluminum wedges a bit.

Pros: I almost figured it out without looking at the direction but I'm mechanically retarded. Once I glaced at the instruction sheet, it all made sense and worked perfectly. I can now mount the CRG Billet Mirror.
Cons: None.

great adapters
Pros: Fit and finish are perfect, very easy to install.
Cons: none, except a tad pricey. I could have just used my barends to mount the mirrors, but these do give it a better look.

Pros: Great adapter for the CRG mirror. This is a much better option than cutting your grips, IMHO. Installation was 2 minutes, and they've been rock solid on my air-cooled twin ever since.
Cons: Price --- I feel like an additional $20 per adapter is asking a bit much, but they _are_ beautifully made, so it's hard to be too bent out of shape about it.

Pros: Matches the mirror.
Mirror clamps to it with no problems.
Does not interfere with throttle.
Cons: Didn't come withthe mirror.
Had to grind off the inner material that goes inside the bar end. ('05 Yamaha R1)
