    Product Information

Woodcraft Frame Slider Base Kit (Pucks Sold Separately) for Daytona 675 06-12

    * Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patented design features a universal slider puck that fits nearly all slider models. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.

    * Note: This frame slider kit requires cutting the bodywork on both sides.

Pros: The product is self explanatory. Product did come with instructions if you need it. All the hardware and fasteners are well made with good finish. As the descriptions of this product, it does require to trim your fairing to a small degree. I bought a inexpensive Dremel and trim away what was in the way. There are videos online from other riders if you need any instructions on installing sliders or trimming the fairing. I personally didn't use any fancy apparatus to help me trim the fairings; I just trim and test-fit. I repeated as needed.
I didn't remove my fairings at all; however, I did unbolt the fairings to get my hands and tools where I needed. If my Dremel didn't die as often as it did (or maybe I should have charged it before I use it), I think this installation would take roughly an hour to 1.5 hour depending how pretty you want the install.

      Cheers
Cons: Cons?... I was sober when I installed it? Other than that, the product is great!
      Fantastic race sliders

Pros: These are probably the most well thought out sliders on the market. I've used both more expensive and cheaper sliders, but I think these are the best ones I've come across. VERY satisfied.
      Cons: None
      Barely know they are there.

Pros: Compact, solid and look like they will take a hit without bending. Not that noticable, blend in.
