Better than the stock seat - by
      Charles G. on 09/05/2009
Pros: The Sargent seat is a huge improvement over the stock ST-1300 seat. Comfort, underseat storage, and an overall finished look make the seat a good alternative to the original seat.
Cons: Even at the discounted price, I feel the seat is a bit pricey for the materials used.
      Great seat!
      David R. on 06/19/2008
Pros: Looks great. WAY more comfy that the stock seat. Great quality. Doesn't hinder movement when hitting the canyons. Short break-in time. Service was great too (as advertised).
Cons: Short break-in time (nothing like a Corbin though). All seats are expensive.
Brilliant choice, best seat upgrade choice you can make
      by Dan M. on 04/02/12
Pros: I have tried three different seats on my 2012 EVO SP Corse and I am stoked with this one most of all for daily rides.

The DP Racing seat is hard. It gives me a numb arse in 30kms (15 miles) of riding). The stock one is just retarded full stop. Uncomfortable quickly and a sticky feeling material with a forward sitting profile. The Sargent on the other hand is flat and sits you up straight and the Gel foam padding is worth every cent of the upgrade and offers the best value I found. These guys worked with me for shipping to Australia and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy when I had a minor problem. Highly recommend.
I wrote up a blog on the three seats I've tried if you want more info:
Cons: I have found that the seating position can cause your thighs to kick out a bit more when sitting back but it feels fine, not really a con. I probably wouldn't use this seat on track days, that's not the reason you're looking at it though, is it?
