      Nice.

      Pros: Quality.
      Fit.
      Appearance.
      Lowering.

This is my second Sargent seat. I really like my first one (R1100S) and this one is every bit as good. It fit perfectly. In fact, I would say it fits better than the stock seat. The lower seat height has transformed the bike for me. I am 5'9" - 16 0lbs and was not at all intimidated with the tall stock GSA saddle. The reason to upgrade was for comfort. The stock seat would begin to bother after about 20 minutes. I learned to hate it. I still have not ridden long distance with it, but I can tell the Sargent seat is way more comfortable than the stock one.

What I did NOT expect is how the bike handles differently now that my body weight is nearly 2" lower. Nice bonus. It feels like I can toss it around better in the corners.

There are some other factors involved that have impacted the handling. I also put Fox bar risers and Fastway foot pegs on at the same time that I upgraded the seat. I wanted to lower the pegs along with the seat and get the bars a bit closer to me than the stock GSA bar risers allowed.
      Cons: One place to sit.

In order to get the saddle lower, your options on where to sit on the saddle is reduced. This is not a seat where you can move around much. On the other hand, no matter how many places I tried to sit on the stock seat, it was uncomfortable. I am not really critical of the seating position. It works for me and I don't feel the need to move around.
      Great long distance seat!

      Pros: - Terrific support
      - Removes pain points
      - Works great for 200+ mile runs
      - Angled nicely for scootching yourself around on the twisties
      - Terrific fit and finish
      Cons: - Initial slipperyness
      - Break in is fast, but feels quite hard until then
      - Position feels a little awkward at first
      Awesome seat!
      Daniel J. on 05/25/2009
Pros: I took a 1,500 milie trip to the Ozarks over 3 days. My butt didn't hurt at all, well not until the last hundred miles of a 640 mile day but I think that may have been excessive anyway!
      Cons: None.
