Brilliant choice, best seat upgrade choice you can make
      by Dan M. on 04/02/12
Pros: I have tried three different seats on my 2012 EVO SP Corse and I am stoked with this one most of all for daily rides.

The DP Racing seat is hard. It gives me a numb arse in 30kms (15 miles) of riding). The stock one is just retarded full stop. Uncomfortable quickly and a sticky feeling material with a forward sitting profile. The Sargent on the other hand is flat and sits you up straight and the Gel foam padding is worth every cent of the upgrade and offers the best value I found. These guys worked with me for shipping to Australia and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy when I had a minor problem. Highly recommend.
I wrote up a blog on the three seats I've tried if you want more info: http://www.ducatiblog.com.au/2012/02/28/three-types-of-ducati-hypermotard-seats-and-their-profiles/
Cons: I have found that the seating position can cause your thighs to kick out a bit more when sitting back but it feels fine, not really a con. I probably wouldn't use this seat on track days, that's not the reason you're looking at it though, is it?
      Nice seat!
      Paul F. on 09/28/2009
Pros: This Seat is more comfortable and a little lower and wider than the original Triumph seat which makes it nice for longer rides and gives you a well planted feel.
The Storage tube below the seat is a nice touch and holds enough small tools for minor repairs.
Cons: The rear rubber bushings were too tall allow me to latch the seat. I just replaced them with the original Triumph bushings from the old seat, problem fixed.

One of the silver buttons on the side of the seat was not properly tapped so I could not screw the stud in all the way.

Fit to the bike is acceptable but not as good as the original.

These are all relatively minor Quality issues, but I expected better refinement and qulity control for the money.
      Great seat, great Price!
      Ivan S. on 08/02/2010
Pros: Better than OEM, but not a hard rock like the Corbin. Great craftsmanship, excellent quality, built better than the OEM seat and makes the more expensive Corbin seem like a high school shop class project in comparison.
Cons: Bse is a little less stiff than the Corbin.
