Honda Race 520 Conversion Chain & Sprocket Kits

Our 520 Conversion kits come with a -1/+2 race gearing for an out of the box boost in acceleration using top of the line AFAM/Drive Systems or Stealth sprockets with chromoly steel front sprockets. Expect to see an 8-10% increase in torque. This setup will lower your top end a little but many feel it is an acceptable loss for the performance gains. This kit will also save considerable weight off your drive train - increasing responsiveness and performance. DID and RK chains come pre-cut to length but you can trim depending on your desired wheel base. EK chains come with 120 links. We recommend the RK Chain Riveting/Breaking Tool for installation and the Speedohealer to correct the speedometer once the kit is installed. Traditionally, aluminum sprockets will wear faster than the stock steel sprockets but you will save considerable weight with the switch. Take care of your chain with chain clean & lube/wax to see longer life from your kit.

Drive Systems' Superlite/X2 Rear Sprockets are ounces heavier than aluminum alloy rear sprockets but yet last three times the life. Tired of wearing out expensive alloy sprockets in a hurry? Check out our new steel Superlite 520 sprocket and new X2 superlites (even lighter!). Original Superlite rears are also the same weight as Supersprox Stealth Tri-Metal sprockets but cost less and we've heard the X2 weighs only a few ounces heavier than an aluminum alloy rear.
