Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit for RC8/R 08-12

Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator kits completely and comprehensively enhances the overall personality of any motorcycle. The race inspired look your bike was meant to have will emerge after installation.

A clear race look essentially brings out the authentic character of a high-end superbike. A motorcycle like this ought to have an aggressive persona and stance and we feel that's what aftermarket modifications bring to the game. There's always something to be done to make this or that a little better and more personalized. The Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator kit provides exactly that in a simple and affordable package. Moreover, with the removal of the ugly stock fender, the tail looks cleaner and drastically more appealing.

This Fender Eliminator kit includes turn signal lights, where applicable, and a high quality stainless steel license plate. The kit has been specifically designed to install quickly and conveniently. With the detailed instructions included for installation, there shouldn't be any problems mounting the kit.

The turn signal lights provided, for certain models, in Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator kits are housed within tough covers and are built to last.

    Competition Werkes, Oregon, USA
Competition Werkes is one of the original manufacturers of sportbike fender eliminator kits since 1984. Fender eliminator kits clean up the tail end of a motorcycle (usually where the license plate is) and has become one of the most popular sportbike upgrades for some time now. Although very well known for their fender kits, Competition Werkes has recently developed a line of integrated turn signal kits for sportbikes to compliment their fender eliminator offerings as well as an assortment of Moto GP inspired GP Exhausts. Their products are proudly made in the USA.

Pros: Good Quality, Really cleaned up the bike, Looks great!
Cons: The instructions could be better. Very vague and hard to understand. Had to figure out where some of the parts went on my own.
      Lowell M. on 04/18/2009
Pros: Looks very good installed. No vendor logo to mar the new sleek lines. Instructions are mostly straight-forward and the parts are well made and high quality.
Cons: Be sure to have a Dremel or other rotary tool to complete this project. NFW can this be installed using just a hacksaw and utility knife, and the instructions are somewhat vague on what exactly has to happen. I used the hacksaw to cut off most of the fender, then a Dremel cutoff wheel and sanding drum to finish up. You can see what needs to happen by sizing up the kit against the fender, and then with plenty of trial fitting. Definitely more of an art than science to make this installation look good.

      Pros: Looks sharp
Cons: I did not install it... I had it professionally installed.
