    Product Description:
BMC Air Filters are performance based products, tested and designed to satisfy the requirements of the most demanding motorcyclists. The materials used in its production are of the highest standard i.e. the filters are made in one single piece with no welded joints thus avoiding breakage, the filtering material is composed of a special cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil and covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh to ensure protection from petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity. The cotton has the advantage of being washable and therefore reusable.
BMC air filters are produced using a full moulding system that enables the filter to be realized from a single mould with no welded joints thus avoiding easy breakage. The rubber used in the air filtering systems has a long life which is very durable and has optimum adhesion characteristics to all shapes of air boxes.
    Product Benefits:
BMC air filters guarantee superior air capacity in respect to traditional paper filters enabling minimum loss of power in the air flow and therefore obtaining better performance from the engine. The filtering body is designed to take in more air than other air intake systems, but without compromising its filtering properties. With this kind of air filter, motorcycle riders can find the best balance for a bike aiming for the podium. These filters are pre-oiled, and can be washed and regenerated by using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.

Pros: Great filter. Adds some power and makes engine sound better as well. Easy to install
      Cons: None
      air filter swap
      by Anthony H. on 11/13/15
Pros: Perfect fit. Cleanable and reusable. The Daytona triple already has a throaty howl, this just opens it up without being obnoxious.

Will have to wait til next year to take it out on the track to see if it helps it the high rpm range as much as it should, but what little playing I have done in 1st and 2nd, makes me think it will be worth it.

Price was great, not much higher than a stock filter.

Would recommend to anyone who does their own maintenance - will save you money in the long run and give you better performance.
Cons: The bottom 3 holes on the stock filter have a little tab that holds the screws in place so you would have to trying very hard to drop them. Not a deal breaker by any means. Just make sure you use a magnetic tip screw driver to get those screws out.
